The Bat and A Concord Stage

So after weeks and weeks of tireless effort on my part I now officially have a job!!!!! Okay, I may have stretched that first part, but it has been several weeks and I did have to stick with it. I am now an official employee of Wells Fargo as a Teller.

The application process was rigorous and it turns out the training is even more so. But I'm so happy and thankful to have a job right now, esp. in these times were it seems that businesses are all closing or laying off. And this one is great! I guess I beat out 20 other applicants for the position. I'll work 8am-5pm weekdays while Dan is gone at school or work anyway. I get all holidays and weekends off and get great benefits thru them. I'm so lucky!

In other news, on top of Dan's already INSANE schedule of 18 credits and 32 hours/week at work Dan has been cast in this semester's musical production, which so happens to be an Operetta "Die Fledermaus" !!!! As a Theater Education Major, he has had to work his way up the U of I casting hierarchy. MFA Theater performance majors, Musical Theater Majors and Theater Graduate Students usually get the best parts. But he's proven his talent and work ethic by making smaller parts that he's gotten shine and be noticed. And that's gotten him a Leading Role as Frank, the Jailor. He's all through out the Opera and has several solo songs and one were he's drunk and dancing with his coat :) Hilarious! I'm so, so, so, so proud of Daniel!!!! I knew his time would come eventually!!! His rehearsals will begin after spring break which will mean that I'll have to come and crash his rehearsals if I want to see him, but the theater department knows me well from the costume side of things and we're sort of the adorable married couple that everyone loves, so they won't mind.
