Teething and drooling. This is his WubbaNub binkie which he has never really used as a binkie, but it has turned out to be his favorite teething toy. Chomp!
Eating Solids! Gus has been enjoying learning to eat with a spoon and so far he's had rice cereal, mashed potatoes, bananas, applesauce, pears and little licks of various things that we eat. He definately prefers the potatoes hands down. No suprise, a boy after his father's own heart ☺
Sleeping in his crib. Up until Gus was about 4 months old, he napped out in the living room so I could get him back down quickly if he woke up from his nap early, which he did constantly. He also slept with us at night for much the same reason. But as you can see, he's getting to be a big boy and it just wasn't working out for us anymore. The transition was great! He was ready for it and so were we. He's sleeping much better now in his crib for naps and night time.
Making Noise! Screaming was his form of communication for all things, for awhile there. Happiness, scream! Sadness, scream! Madness, SCREAM! You had to look at his expression to know what he was trying to say most of the time. It would have been cuter if they weren't so ear splitting and if we didn't have neighbors who are already loud enough without having an excuse to be.
Luckily it seems to have been just a phase, and he's moved on from that and is now saying, "Da,da,da,da.." all day long. I love it!
Sitting. Gus is just about to have sitting down. He just chills on the couch sometimes playing and talking. He's kept trying to grab the camera when I tried ot take pictures.
Toes! He's lately discovered his toes and what fun they are. Yummy too!
