More of an Evacuation than a Move, but...

So our land lords are either spineless or just heartless. Either way I don't think too highly of them anymore for choosing an impulsive, unstable, intoxicated crazy woman over two great tenants and their baby.
She came to our place on Monday to talk to our "special" neighbor. There was her car there. There was her TV there, on. But there was no her. The Land lord figured she was hiding out and not answering the door. And she was right. Just after she left, we heard walking around up there. The fact that she hid out shows that she knew what she had done was wrong.
Our land lord reached her by phone later, and called us back informing us that our neighbor "promises to cut off the music for good," and if she doesn't we'd have to call the police, have them verify the noise, and then she could evict her with 30 days notice.
Um, first. I don't believe her. She will say, and has always said anything to appear to make things better and then continue doing just what she wants to. And second. 30 days is NOT an option.
So we up and moved out in 2 days. And by the way-our neighbor shared with all our mover helpers her poor taste in music and volume preference the very next day after the land lord informed me she had promised to not play her music what so ever from now on. Proving how good her word was and what I already knew she'd do. I don't care if we were moving out, your word is your word.
Anyway, we were so grateful and truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and help. We had numerous housing offers, even college students in Dan's theater class offering to move out of their places for us, and tons of moving help offers. It was SO sweet! In the end my dear sister and her husband have been gracious enough to take us in and let us rent a room in their place.
Needless to say (I think), we are so much happier here! Once we were out, I felt like a load had been lifted. Being here at my sisters, around people who love me and my family, in comparison it was like living under a dark menacing cloud. I feel like that little lamb kicking up its heels for joy. Freedom!

I'm SO glad you're out of there. You can't live under those awful circumstances. Now you can focus on your little family!!
